As the Housing Supervisor, Wanda oversees Access Living’s housing counseling staff and manages the home modifications program. She has been with Access Living since 2017 when she joined Access Living as a housing counselor. In this role, she facilitated the HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) Certified Housing Counseling Program. In In collaboration with the Chicago Housing Authority, consumers are added to a waitlist and ultimately come in to Access Living to attend a Housing Counseling Workshop.
In 2025, Wanda accepted the position of Manager of Community Reintegration. In this new role, Wanda leads a team of direct services staff members in creating a more integrated and streamlined approach to our housing and reintegration services.
Wanda loves what she does, particularly her interactions with consumers and providing them with stability through housing.
