Disability, Race, and Healthcare Inequities: 2nd Roundtable Discussion

September 15, 2021 @ 5:30 PM 7:00 PM

Join Access Living for our second roundtable discussion centered on the intersections of disability, race, and health care inequities experienced on the South and West sides of Chicago. This event will take place over Zoom.

This next roundtable will feature Access Living community members and staff discussing how healthcare inequities on the south and westside specifically impact residents with disabilities. We will then open the discussion to hear from attendees to further discuss what community members and services providers can do to better integrate a disability and intersectional lens in their health equity work.

Following the panel we will review a summary of what we learned from our discussion from the first round table and seek your feedback. It is our goal that this roundtable will help identify resources, solutions, and comrades in the fight for a more equitable and accessible Chicago for all.

ASL, CART, and English to Spanish interpretation will be offered at this event. If you have any other accommodations needs, please note them on the registration form.
