Access Living friends and allies,

The Accessible Public Safety Conference

Colorful graphic with geometric shapes. Text reads, "Accessible Public Safety: The 2023 Global Social Impact Conference" followed by Access Living's logo.

Join us on Saturday, June 3 for the Accessible Public Safety Conference!  This hybrid FREE conference will provide a space for institutions of higher education, community-based organizations, and people with disabilities and their families who have been impacted by the criminal system. We will discuss issues related to experiences with law enforcement, correctional institutions, and the importance of disability-centered community-based support. Our community partner hosts are the Northwestern Pritzker Law Center for Racial and Disability Justice (CRDJ), and the Lawndale Christian Legal Center (LCLC)

Quick RSVP link here.

We have a terrific lineup of speakers for this event. In addition to representation from Access Living, CRDJ, and LCLC, we will host a range of panel speakers who are impacted persons with disabilities, themselves. Join us to hear about their life experiences and listen to their insights on meaningful community supports.
