CHICAGO – Access Living, a leading force in the disability community in Chicago and nationwide, announces the addition of five distinguished professionals to its Board of Directors. These new board members bring a wealth of expertise and commitment to advancing Access Living’s independent living services and advocacy efforts, both locally and nationally.
The incoming members join a seasoned board chaired by Kevin Bradley, Vice President of Culture and Belonging at HUB International. Each will serve a three-year term.
“Each of our new board members is a remarkable advocate for disability inclusion,” said Karen Tamley, President and CEO of Access Living. “Their unique expertise and unwavering dedication will strengthen our mission to create a more inclusive world for disabled people. We are thrilled to welcome them to our board and look forward to their contributions.”
Meet the New Board Members:
- Scott Hoesman, CEO, inQUEST Consulting
As CEO of inQUEST Consulting, Scott Hoesman is a sought-after speaker, executive facilitator, author and senior organizational strategist. With a background in financial services and consulting, Scott is best known for his ability to implement full-scale, long-term people strategies across a wide spectrum of industries and geographies. His approach is based on three strategic pillars: include, engage and innovate.
- Nicole Monroe, Executive Leadership Coach, Emerge the Soul, LLC
Nicole Monroe is a people management coach specializing in diversity, equity, and health equity. With a background in organizational branding and talent development, Nicole uses her lived experience with multiple sclerosis to design impactful programs that empower marginalized communities.
- Megan Pavich, Vice President of Technology, Privacy, Cyber Law, Allstate Insurance Company
Megan Pavich oversees technology, cyber, and privacy legal counseling at Allstate. A Loyola University School of Law graduate, she has 20 years of legal expertise in corporate law, innovation, and product protection. She brings these strengths along with lived experience with neurodivergence and facial paralysis to her role on the board.
- Jacob Ringer, Business Owner and Community Advocate
A civic-minded entrepreneur, Jacob Ringer owns Sushi Hall, a popular neighborhood restaurant in Lincoln Park. With a background in government, politics, lobbying, and real estate, Jacob brings a deep passion for community-level advocacy using his personnel experience with dyslexia to Access Living.
- Corey Turner, Executive Director, Recruitment Delivery (Global), JLL
Corey Turner leads talent management at JLL and has a career-long focus on talent acquisition, diversity, and workforce strategy. A certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, Corey began his career at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, as a nurse recruiter and generalist.
Continuing Leadership
Access Living also congratulates two re-elected board members: Sangeeta Driver and Rosanna Márquez, who will each serve a second term.
