Stephon is the inaugural Access Living Diversion and Reentry Fellow, a six-month opportunity to develop a project related to disability and diversion/reentry.
My personal advocacy with Access Living’s housing, civil rights, and independent living programs inspired me to advocate on the behalf of others who are disabled, impacted by the criminal justice system, and have faced social disadvantages.
The social impact from my experiences as a Diversion and Reentry Fellow, and as an Advisory Council member is to live a better quality of life and advocate for policies that improve quality of life for those who are disabled and impacted by the criminal justice system.
