Medicaid, a program that helps millions of people with disabilities pay for healthcare, home services, and other needs is under attack in Washington DC. Millions of people are at risk of losing Medicaid. Right now, lawmakers are deciding whether to cut Medicaid funding—decisions that will directly impact people with disabilities. We want to hear from you about why Medicaid matters.
For the past 18 months, Access Living has aimed to better understand how we can best offer supports and services to the many thousands of Chicagoans who have become disabled through gun violence.
