Dear Access Living friends and allies,

As the end of the year approaches, and many prepare to take time away to gather with loved ones for the first time in a long time, or to simply rest, I find myself reflecting on the tireless work of this entire community, and I am deeply grateful.

I am grateful for you. Whether you are a self-advocate or an ally in our advocacy efforts, a community partner or donor, we could not do the work we do without each and every one of you.

This year, you rallied, uplifted each other’s voices, and helped us advance disability justice, protect disability rights, and collectively called for changes that make the world more accessible and inclusive for everyone.

We know that this time of year can be challenging for many. We have a number of support resources listed on our website if needed.

So much has been accomplished this year, including our work to address the impact of COVID-19, and there’s still much work ahead. I thank you for all you do to support us and wish you a restful and peaceful holiday season.

Be well,

Karen
