“We are glad to see the CTA go beyond minimal compliance to universal accessibility of the system. It’s not only the right thing to do but it makes economic sense. The aging of the baby boomers will place increased demand for accessible transit. Our hope is the CTA will work with the community to expedite the timeline. We shouldn’t have to wait another 20 years to make this happen.”
