Access Living Statement on End of Illinois Eviction Moratorium
Today, Governor Pritzker has ended the statewide eviction moratorium, causing homelessness and human suffering throughout Illinois. This will disproportionately negatively impact disabled people and other historically marginalized communities who are chronically unemployed, and/or underpaid. We must call on Governor Pritzker and all State Governors to extend our statewide protections. This pandemic is not over.
