Michael Walthall

 

Michael Walthall is the Program Coordinator for Access Living’s Disabled Survivors of Gun Violence program. Prior to joining the Access Living team full time in May of 2024, Michael worked as a part-time peer facilitator for the listening sessions that would help form the program he now oversees. Michael is a survivor of gun violence and uses his lived experience to assist other survivors in his current role.

Michael has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from DeVry University and is currently completing his master’s degree at Keller University. He currently serves on the board of Chicago Adaptive Sports, mentors others who have experienced gun violence, and leverages content and media platforms regularly to further advocate for survivors of gun violence.
