Recordings: On Becoming Disabled Through Gun Violence

On May 2, 2024, Access Living held a live panel event to release the findings of a qualitative study into the experiences of Chicagoans who have become disabled due to gun violence. Hosted by Joanna Hernandez of WTTW, Access Living staff members who conducted this study, impacted community members, and disabled survivors spoke to their lived experiences and the unmet needs outlined in the white paper, Disabled Gun Violence Survivors in Chicago: An Initial Needs Survey.
