Barbara joined Access Living in 2019. As Director of Development, she plays an integral role in donor relations and leads all of Access Living’s fundraising efforts. Prior to joining Access Living, Barbara was involved in a number of highly successful outreach efforts, including Chicago’s Cows on Parade. She brings to Access Living a wealth of knowledge and experience from some of Chicago’s leading civic organizations; she previously worked with major donors at the United Way of Metropolitan Chicago and Chicago Cares. Before joining the nonprofit sector, Barbara was an entertainment marketing director and worked on concert tours for George Strait, Celine Dion, Tina Turner, and many others. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and is certified in fundraising management from DePaul University.
