Beth Bendtsen (they/them) joined Access Living as an intern in 2021 and then served as an Administrative Assistant for the Arts & Culture department before moving into their current role as Youth Transition Coordinator.
Beth received their Master of Social work from the University of Illinois Chicago, where they worked as a Research Associate with the Center on Mental Health Services Research & Policy. There, they supported multiple qualitative and quantitative research studies and co-authored research posters related to trans-inclusive and self-directed care. Beth has also worked as a teacher, tutor, and arts educator with students elementary-age through early adulthood.
