Charles Petrof joined Access Living in 2016 as a Senior Attorney. He focuses on the enforcement of the Americans with Disabilities Act and leads Access Living’s legal work in accessible transportation. Charles also leads Access Living litigation that addresses the accessibility of Chicago-area businesses, public schools, and government programs.
Before coming to Access Living, Charles was a supervisory attorney at the Legal Assistance Foundation, and senior attorney at Chicago Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Inc.
Charles specializes in litigation under the Fair Housing Act and in access to public benefits. He received his bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and his law degree from Wayne State University.
