The Zoo – Mud Theatre Project

Join us on December 4th for a performance of The Zoo, a short play about the extreme lack of mental health services in the United States prison system. The play will take place in Access Living’s event space at 1pm and will be followed by a Q and A with the actors.

About The Zoo:

Two prisoners share a bench in the communal area of Dixon Correctional Center, one from the general population; the other from the prison’s Special Treatment Center. Their conversation can only be described as ‘normal’ at Dixon.
